Rosie + Jon had the coolest woodland wedding at Hawthbush Farm in Sussex.
The morning started off with Rosie getting ready in the cute little cottages that Hawthbush Farm let out and I loved that they spent some time together on the morning of the wedding! Funnily enough it was only the week before their wedding that I wrote a blog post about wedding traditions becoming dated and this was something I wrote about because I wish i’d spent the night before with my husband and had breakfast together. Trust me the day goes so fast and the build up to it can be crazy, I think it’s definately the way forward!
Rosie’s 2 piece dress was stunning! Can you believe her super talented sister made it! It had the softest tulle and a super cute top. I love dresses that have moment, you’ll see why later 😉 plus they are soooo comfortable!
It had been raining on and off all morning and as we began their woodland ceremony the heavens literally opened! I have shot many rainy weddings before but never seen such a downpour! They decided to start the ceremony over in the barn which kinda meant they had two ceremonies!
The sit down meal was so chilled and I loved the simple rustic elements throughout from the plates and cutlery to the fern and copper place settings.
Rosie + Jon are friends with the Tattoed Bakers who make the coolest cakes! You might spot them below too!
Thanks so much to Rosie + Jon for being awesome and their friends and family for helping me out on the day!
