TIME LINE EXAMPLE for 4 hours in london

12pm PREP – GETTING READY together or with a bridesmaid

Emma arrives – 90mins covered

  • COOL PREP LOCATION
  • GOOD LIGHT
  • A DECENT SIZE

SO MANY TIMES BRIDES HAVE NOT REALISED HOW CRAMPED IT GETS WITH A BRIDESMAID, MAKEUP, PHOTOGRAPHER, MUM….

FOR A COVID SECURE WEDDING IT CAN ONLY BE 6 PEOPLE MAX IN SPACE THATS BIG ENOUGH TO NOT FEEL CRAMPED, SO FOR EXAMPLE IT SHOULD HAVE A LARGE OPEN PLAN KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM, THATS WHY AIRBNBS lIJE THE ONE BELOW ARE SOMETIMES BEST FOR THESE.

  • Play awesome choons – to get your vibe going!
  • Keep the prep area as TIDY as possible, messy backgrounds ruin photos.
  • Choose the brightest part of the room facing a window to get your make up done.
  • Wear cool outfits – check out my pinterest board HERE

TOP TIPS:

Get ready at/near the venue!

More than a 20mins drive means your are paying for me to drive when I could be capturing cool stuff 🙂

Airbnb does some great cool, quirky houses to stay in and are often much less than a hotel!

Couples have also used it to go back to that evening.

Getting ready together means you’ll have more photos together! There are no rules!

The bigger and brighter the location the better the photos!

DONT get ready at your parents or your home if it’s not in-keeping with the look of the vibe your going for or your photos will look inconsistent. Make the most of me as your photographer!

1PM grab a taxi to go to the ceremony (15min ride max)

.

1.15pm meet registrar

1.30pm CEREMONY

TOP TIP:

Don’t feel you have to stand in silence throughout the ceremony or not touch!

Laugh, talk, hug, kiss! It’ll relax you and your guests will love it <3

SIGNING THE REGISTER!

Most officiants will not let us photograph the actual signing which is super annoying AND such dated thinking but we still have to put it up with it…

Please tell them before hand that you won’t be having one, most of them don’t get that todays couples really don’t want cheesy staged pictures… So unless you specifically request one (because mum would like one) remind the person doing the ceremony that you won’t be having the cheesy signing photo, no one ever prints that one! lol

2PM CONFETTI!

Bloody love this part! – you know the drill, biodegrable colourful paper circles all in a big basket (NO CONES or little bags) so its easy to grab and LOTS of it!

Even if there’s only a couple of us you still gotta have this moment!

2 big handfuls per guest plus extra to play with!

The best confetti supplier is on this link:

GIVE GOOD FACE!

You’ll never do this again so give me big smiles and tons of joy!

Enjoy every second!

ALWAYS get more than you think you need.

2.10PM family SHOTS (10-15mins)

2.30PM portraits

Let’s go grab a cocktail! We can get a taxi to somewhere for a quick drink to relax you and then wander the streets of London to shoot your epic portraits! 🙂 whilst your family make their way to dinner and have drinks and canapés waiting for them.

TOP TIP! MAIN BOUQUET: THE BIGGER + LOOSER THE BETTER! TREAT YO’SELF!

3.30PM reception, candids, table deets

Table details! If you’ve got a beaut table set up you HAVE to have it photographed!

Just because its a micro wedding doesn’t mean you can’t have a stunning table!

It’s even more reason to!

You will be sat there for 2+ hours and it really makes it feel special and luxe!…

Speeches and candids:

If you’re still having a couple of speeches I can shoot these too.

£150 for half hour or £300 for one hour.
